Cold Dog Soup

011: Clip Show & an Announcement

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

Although "Clip Show" and "an Announcement" sound like they could be poems Sean wrote in high school, they're not. We're bringing you this week all of Hankins' productions in the first 10 episodes of Cold Dog Soup. But before that, we have an announcement on the direction this podcast will take over the next couple of months. Executively Produced, as always, by Cassie Moore Reid.

"Don't listen to this. This will make you die right now." - Sean

"If you don't listen to this, it will make you die right now." - Matt

"I like this" - Judge Creel

008: Let Me In

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

Episode 008 of Cold Dog Soup tackles yet another plagarism alert in a four stanza pile of garbage courtesy of, yep, you guessed it -- Sean. Executively produced by Cassie Reid Moore.

007: Unsure (Trapped In The Closet)

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

After Hurricane Irma? Harvey? Maria? Katia? Jose? All of them disrupted all of our lives, we're back to regular order today with episode seven of Cold Dog Soup. Today's offering is 'Unsure', but we're all sure where we stand on this piece. Executively Produced, as always, by Cassie Reid Moore.

006: Runaway Abdominable (sic) Fence

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

15 years ago Sean and Matt took an English class together in college and were assigned a project involving putting together disparate lines from absurd poem. The result of Sean's work is about as good or bad as his original work. Executive Produced, as always, by Cassie Reid Moore.

005: Tussy Crook

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

The tables have finally turned. After a month of abuse for Sean, we bring to you a pirate broadcast of Cold Dog Soup, hitting on a work by the Monkey Boyz -- a freestyle rap ensemble consisting of our very own Matt Hankins (Eight), and his two comrades: 2Safe and Ham. Very explicit. Very excellent. Very Executive Produced by Cassie Moore Reid. We love you.

004: BMAD, Fiona Apple / One Way of Looking at an Egg

A part of the Throw The Flag Network

The guys tackle two more works from Sean, "Bite Me and Die, Fiona Apple" and "One Way of Looking at an Egg" -- two short works that demonstrate the quirky, whimsical side of a tortured poet.

Stick with us. Over the next few weeks we'll have works by three different authors -- as well as the shlock from Sean that you've come to know and love.

Executive Produced by Cassie Moore Reid

003: Perfect / Untitled

Five total poems!!

READ THIS! We have received an insane reception of listens, feedback, high-fives, texts, phone calls, etc etc etc from our previous two eps. Thank you SO MUCH. WE LOVE YOU. Okay. Episode descrip' starts meow:

The Matts are PISSED. Hankins was so mad after reading 'Perfect' that we had to record three days early. Creel again found common ground with Sean's creations after we all realized the second half of this trash show was four poems.

Tell your friends. Listen. Rate. Subscribe. We love you.

002: Two O'Clock Rant / Barcode Vow

CDS is back with two steaming piles of garbage from Sean: Two O'clock Rant and Barcode Vow. Check out our other podcast "Throw The Flag" and support the TTF Network on Patreon.
